Felicity Buchan should have organised this years ago.
Only when severely pressed by us residents did she deign to help.
For 13 years this government has done nothing about the tsunami of crime washing over our streets and our lives.
Felicity Buchan is a member of that government so is very much part of the problem.
Have we ever heard her call for severe sentencing for carrying or using a knife? No, never.
If a mandatory 10-year sentence was imposed for carrying a knife and double for using the problem would go away.
We know that Miss Buchan is politically ambitious: it's a shame she cannot be a bit more ambitious on our behalf by coming up with a radical plan to halt knife crime in its tracks.
As for the Met....it should be immediately put into Special Measures. It has not been fit for purpose for years.

I am tired of this thuggery being called 'anti social' behaviour these addicts, dealers, knife welding thugs are breaking the law and should be locked up with proper sentencing for their crimes. Residents have been put through complete hell, with these so called 'vulnerable' people basically ruling our community. They blatantly sit on our doorsteps injecting, snorting and smoking their crap...which by the way we fund via their benefits. They are not 'homeless' either they have homes and either chose not to go to them or eventually become so obnoxious they are asked to leave...to go to another home. We residents have been asked to report everything we see to the police...basically doing their job...why? because the oracle mayor and his gang of idiots demand evidence before they actually allocate police to certain areas. We are not safe in Earls Court because it's ruled by grey track suit (usually from prison) wearing criminals, who know how to manipulate and play the system. We need police on the frontline of this insanity along with some police dogs. Whatever anyone thinks of Felicity Buchan please send a statement to support a section 80....it's not about her it's about residents of Earls Court.
