Being at one of your many luxury 'executive' bolt holes you may not have read Miss Buchan's Xmas 'UPDATE'?
I did and was astonished to see yet another picture of her seated in her office with 'the Red Box' seated beside her.
It seems each of her 'UPDATES' has the dreaded box in plain sight!
It just seems odd. After all, she's just a junior minister? I don't recall her predecessors....the BIG BEASTS...Sir Malcolm Rifkind or Michael Portillo posing in this way.
Surely she needs to 'get over herself'...such ego!

EDC's attitude to so many of her constituents when she was in offcie and behaving as though anyone south of Holland Park Avenue was rich without need of her MP services sealed her fate at the last election but it was till tight as a result but EDC lost may supporters due to her dismissive attitude

She was part of the problem at the TMO because she was not part of the solution.
If she had been effective as a Councillor and a Director of the TMO, the toxic culture at the TMO would not have been tolerated. She knew of the TMO's toxic and intimidatory attitude to the Francis O'Connor. She let it prevail because he was not one of her "yes" men.
Who knows, Grenfell might never have happened if EDC was worth her salt.
Francis O'connor did more for Grenfell than Emma Dent Coad ever did.
At least Buchan stopped backing Boris Johnson albeit only two days before he was shafted.

What people do see & hear from EDC as Leader of the Labour Group in the town hall is a clapped out, worn down, tired, repetitive & predictable performance which is encouraging the Tories & letting Labour members & supporters down.
If a GE is called, Joe will have to call on outside help with the campaign in order to win the seat back from Felicity Buchan as most of EDC's supporters won't bother.
It's time for EDC, the chair & the branch chairs to go. They are yesterday's people lving in the past, they have no regard for anyone outside their little group & they do not care about winning as anyone can see from the council elections last year.
I agree. Emma Dent Coad has an over inflated view of her importance. She is toxic. She would prefer the Tories to win the seat at a General Election so she can say I am the only one who has ever one the seat for Labour. It should have been me even if I did for race relations what Enoch Powell stopped short of doing

You're right, Flicka is spotless when it comes to racism. She's had an expensive Oxbridge education.

Flicka did not find it necessary to proclaim herself "a proud antiracist campaigner" on social media. It was not necessary for her to do that. I hear Emma no longer says she is "a proud antiracist campaigner" on her social media profiles.

If we wanted to stir them up, RED was the colour. If we wanted to calm them down, GREEN was the colour. BLUE is for soothing. All of this is the product of £ thousands of psychological research.
