K&C WORKING HARD FOR YOU!

Two more wasting our hard-earned council tax!

Dear Dame

We are always told how well managed our little council is....well, the picture sends out a very different message. This stressed out bunch of K&C employees looked as if they had started the weekend early.

This sort of lounging around on our streets sends out a very poor message. It is interesting to compare this idle lot with our brilliant Suez street cleaners who work in all weathers to keep the streets clean.

Whoever manages this bunch should be sacked...oh, I forgot...councils never sack you from a 'job for life'.

  1. At 3.00pm? If they had finished work they would not have been wearing K&C vests

  2. I have never seen these vests before. What dept were they were working in? A bit like CEO's who now seem to idle their time away in groups

  3. Another failure of Leadership by dizzie Campbell. These episodes speak volumes. Slack ship

  4. Even had they finished work it is not a good look to be lounging around clearly identifiable as K&C workers. Like the traffic wardens who gather in groups

  5. I saw several more lounging around outside S. Ken tube. All wearing blue K&C vests. What the hell is going on?

  6. The Council's PR department has told Cllr Dizzy that the funeral presents a wonderful opportunity to piggyback on the death of a great monarch. Her Majesty was blessed with a wry sense of humour blended with a great insight into the falsity of human nature. The Council, with its endless proclamations and brochures would have been an object of her scorn. Dial it down, Dizzy...this is about her late Majesty not you and your petty ambitions.

  7. 16:44 I asked one of them what dept they worked for and was told that they were supposed to be answering questions from the public but that no one was asking them questions! Your inference they were hardworking council workers finishing a hard day's work is just utter balderdash. This is another example of our council tax being frittered away
