Too often North Ken residents feel treated as second-class citizens.
A situation unimproved when their interests are represented by third raters like Cllrs Kasim Ali and Elnaghi.
The Dame only ever hears about Elnaghi attending meetings without a clue as to what he is talking about.
As for Ali...the less said the better: not that there is much to say.
Labour has good hardworking councillors who represent voters responsibly: Henderson is an example.
On the Lib Dem side, Linda Wade gets stuck in.
So why should residents tolerate duds like Elnaghi and Ali who take their allowances without putting in the legwork?
When challenged they pathetically go around saying they are victims of race and hate!
The real victims are those foolish enough to have elected these two clowns.
Linda Wade and Ian Henderson are outstanding councillors. Judith Blakeman is a very, decent, caring councillor.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't give the time of day to the rest of them. They are all in it for their allowances. Most of them wouldn't last five minutes working in a properly run business.
The residents of North Kensington are much more poorly served by their current MP. Felicity Buchan's performance during the recent debate on the Fire Safety bill was atrocious. For someone supposedly representing the constituency in which 70 odd people died in a fire of the construction industry's own making in 2017 she appears to be either completely clueless, spineless, a Conservative party muppet or, most likely, all three. Some members of her party have integrity and have both challenged and criticised the government. As the MP for the constituency where the Grenfell fire actually took place so should she. She hasn't. The relative ineptitude of Labour Ward Councillors is both insignificant and irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteFelicity Buchan gets my vote for helping me with my housing.
DeleteRecent experience has shown that it doesn't matter if there is a Labour or Tory MP in Kensington, they are all useless.
ReplyDeleteI asked Felicity Buchan for help. And she was very good.
ReplyDeleteKensington has had Tory and Labour MP's. None of them have been any great shakes.
ReplyDeleteIf Linda Wade stood for parliament, she would be able to see off old guard Labour and Tory candidates.
