The old Dame is no ardent monarchist: in fact, one of her forbears was foolish enough to end up as a regicide but in these modern times it's salutary to compare two very different types of leader.
In Boris Johnson, we have a Prime Minister who surrounds himself with colleagues of indifferent quality and thinks it appeals to the masses to behave like some music-hall turn.
(Mr Sunak...excepted!)
In Prince William, we have a leader who intuitively knows how to behave and performs his role with dignity, elegance and grace.
Our Prime Minister should look to Prince William and learn lessons.
Boris is an embarrassment
ReplyDeleteIf a King were to lose a continent, Europe, and then rule over the break up of a four nation treaty alliance. What would happen to him ?
ReplyDeleteI dont know what the problem is ? Boris and his mates have made their Hedge Fund money on the outcome of Brexit . They were paid out on the 1st of January. The Mogladite as well . So Boris has the pile of cash he needed and they all made fortune out of wrecking the UK and doing what the luftwaffe failed to do. Are these boys from Eton some kind of 'fifth column '.
ReplyDeleteIf rumours are to be believed Emma Dent Coad will be running on a 'dream ticket' with Piers Corbyn for the London Mayoral Elections. Emma, who will allegedly be running as Deputy alongside Piers bid to be the London Mayor, allegedly said ' I have no idea'.
ReplyDeleteCllr. Emma Dent Coad is the Kensington's political equivalent of Donald Trump. She has an ego and is narcissistic.Don't let her near our mayoralty.
DeleteAnyone feel like we are involved in some kind of genocidal nightmare ?
ReplyDeleteAll we need is Matthew Palmer, the EDC of the Conservatives ,to join those two for Mayor and then yes we are then in a Genocidal Nightmare. All we need is Abbott as Defence Secretary.
ReplyDeleteThe Dame is trying to curry favour with Kensington Palace. She senses that William will take over from Her Majesty and froggy Charles will be leapfrogged.
ReplyDeleteNot very noble behaviour from the old girl. At school we used to call them creeps
A similar thought occurred to me. The Prince is 39 years old according to my calculations. His Grandmother took on the job when she was 25 years old. And what a performance that has been. The boy is ready.
DeleteYour Lordship and Mr O'Bserver
DeleteThe Dame is furious at your suggestion. She did receive a Festive Duchy Hamper from the lad's papa but that was in recognition of the Dame's great beauty and intelligence.
It is too soon for Will because the Palace would be afflicted with a mother in law who was an air stewardess. The Nation is not ready for "Doors to Manual" in the Royal pew
